Our Firm is present in prestige group of this year prizemen of the
"Gazele Biznesu 2002" (Business Gazelles of 2002).
The prize is awarded by the "Puls Biznesu" newspaper, which made up
a ranking of the most dynamic small and medium business for the third
time.
The "Puls Biznesu", together with Coface Intercredit Poland - an economic
intelligence service firm, has verified firms according to following
criteria:
 starting activity
before 1998,
total sale
within limits of PLN 10-300 millions in 1999,
every year
increase in sale within the period 1999 - 2001,
no loss in
years 1999 - 2001,
publication
of activity results in the "Monitor Polski B" (Monitor of Poland B)
The "Gazele Biznesu" is the only one ranking taking into account the
last year of firm's activity, but also its dynamism, fast and stable
development within the last three years. Firms having the status of
"Gazele Biznesu" are, above all, trustworthy partners in business,
who still are in position to be innovative in spite of unfavourable
economic conditions.

In June, 2001, the Board of ZEC SERVICE Ltd decided to initiate the
Integrated Management System for Quality, Environment, Safety and
Health in the Firm (IMS). It took more than year the proceedings
related to designing the IMS, working out a system documentation and
initiating it in all organizational divisions of the Firm.
On the first stage of work, there has been worked out policy for quality,
environment, safety and health. The Firm's Mission, Policy and Strategy
were the leading documents determining scope of the IMS.
In order to initiate and maintain the IMS in the Company, there have
been:
identified
processes,
defined their
interconnections and interactions,
defined criteria
of their course and supervision.
The processes are monitored and analysed and the results make a basement
to introduce actions, which improve processes.
Certification process of IMS was turned over to TÜV NORD POLSKA Ltd.
On the days 01-05.10.2002, at ZEC SERVICE Ltd site, TÜV NORD POLSKA
Ltd performed certification audit, which confirmed the Integrated
Management System for quality, environment, safety and health was
put into practice in the Enterprise. The certificating company's auditors
tabled a motion to grant certificates of consistence with standards
DIN EN ISO 9001:2000, DIN EN ISO14001 and PN-N-18001 for our Firm.
Introduction of the IMS allows to manage the Enterprise effectively,
to meet our Clients' expectations in a manner ensuring safe realisation
of work and to prevent negative changes for environment.

The ZEC SERVICE has been collaborating with the EUROPEAN ORGANIZATION
FOR NUCLEAR RESEARCH (CERN) for two years. Now we have entered
into two contracts with the CERN: the first one concerns copper installations
for gas distribution, the second concerns austenitic steel pipelines
for cooling water distribution. The work will start in the beginning
of 2003 and they will be continued till the March, 2004.
The European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) is the intergovernmental
organization including currently 20 Member States. The Organization
has its seat in Geneva on either side of the border between France
and Switzerland. Its purpose is to ensure a research infrastructure
for cooperation between European States in the field of high energy
particle physics - at present, thousands of scientists from research
institutes all over the world use CERN's installations for their experiments.
