ZEC Service Sp. z o. o. was established on the 1st of July 1992 as the first company to emerge from the process of restructuring the former Zespół Elektrociepłowni Wrocław S.A. (Wrocław CHP Plant)

ZEC Service was one of the leading companies constituting the KOGENERACJA S.A. Capital Group, which was part of the French EDF Group.

On the 29th of June 2009 the Company purchased and redeemed its own shares belonging to KOGENERACJA S.A. and is currently an independent Polish capital company employing 350 people.

ZEC Service Sp. z o. o. specialises in:

  • repair, modernisation and assembly of equipment as well as power and industrial installations,
  • comprehensive, specialist services of repair, assembly and modernisation of electrical and power equipment and also automated control and safety units,
  • production of elements and subassemblies for the railway and automotive industry including welded steel structures,
  • repair and maintenance services for technical installations in industrial facilities,
  • engineering and contract performance in all sectors related to modernisation of heating systems (modernisation of water and steam boilers, heating networks, central heating installations, hot tap water, ventilation and air-conditioning, construction of heat transfer centres)
  • diagnostics of materials and equipment as well as thermo-visual, environmental and operational tests including vibration diagnostics and vibro-acoustics (carried out by ZEC Diagpom, a subsidiary)
  • trading in heat

As a dynamic and fast growing company, we have seized the opportunity given to Polish companies by the European Organisation for Nuclear Research (CERN) based in Geneva. In 2000, following positive results of audits carried out by the Organisation’s representatives, ZEC Service Sp. z o.o. was authorised to bid in international tenders published by the Organisation.

Due to its mobility, modernity, competences and the attractive commercial offer the Company secured commercial contracts in 2002.

Having completed the contracted services, ZEC Service Sp. z o. o. has continued cooperating with CERN where our employees have earned a very good reputation for their professional standards. This is proved by two CMS Gold Awards granted to ZEC Service and by continued cooperation in the area of installation maintenance.
